How did they manage that one?

I thought Harvey's citizenship bid was refused following a drink-related criminal offence?

Is he a Kolpak?

Does anybody know when David Warner is turning up to play for Durham. I thought it was supposed to be for the T20, but I haven't heard anything about him.

David Warner is due to join Durham after his IPL stint, I haven't followed the IPL at all so can't say if he has finished with that competition yet.

Don't forget Cardiff is a late start as it's a d/n. Toof ar from Dorchester, so debut on Wednesday, weather permitting.

Think of it as a time for sitting in the garden, with umbrella no doubt!

Waller and Turner the only players in the squad, other than Saturday's XI.

I find it very dissappointing that neither Edwards nor Durston appear to be in real contention for anything. I think one has to fear that we may lose one or both guys at season's end. And if the new Kolpak rule takes Zander out as well....

And I'm not even sure if Arul's long-term future is secure, work-permit wise?

We could have a number of holes to fill in our batting.

I tend to agree AG. This is obviously our settled 13 for the one day game and with only one loss ( and that in the last over) you can see why. JL is treating this as seriously as anything else, but while Edwards is not necessarily 20/20 material I think Wes is. Bearing in mind the Cardiff pitch I would play Waller and Banks but I don't know who to leave out. Unless he scores a lot the obvious ones are Langer and Hildreth but I don't think that makes sense. MT and CK are shoo-ins. Z de B is doing fine so the only candidate is Arul.
We shall see

As Arul bowls slow, I'd keep him in, but give Willo a rest as he didn't bowl very well on Saturday, could do with a break, and doesn't field or bat.
