Tonight's match is on Sky TV, which great for all except bloke. We can all do first-hand match reports.

There are a lot more people than Bloke who don't have (and indeed don't choose to have) Sky.

He's more outspoken about it though! As a pedant, shouldn't the phrase be 'choose not to have'!

The phrases "not choose to have" and "choose not to have" are both equally acceptable but mean subtly different things. One is an active choice, the other is passive failure to act.

As a pedant, shouldn't a question terminate with a question mark?

No, it was a statement?

Then why disguise it as an exclamation?

Well I'm glad it's on Sky! We've had a decent amount of games on the last couple of months.

Um, I have made my choice, and I don't have sky, therefore Botham is correct in my case at least. LoL is not to know whether or not I have made my choice, so he is not in the wrong either.

Not sure what punctuation to put on the end of this post!?

Don't let Sky find out, BR, or there'll be a less than moderate increase in your subscription! winking smiley

We are batting first.

Justin is fit again.

Looks like Banks has finished his run for Somerset and Waller is in.

I was wondering If Hildreth may have given way for somebody else but he hasn't, I do hope he scores some runs.

Not a good start. Who is this Shantry guy? two overs for only three runs and, I assume, an 'assist,' in the dismissal of Craig who made only 2 off 11 balls (most unlike him.)

Hildreth has made way now Mike, first baller!

Im afraid that James is more a liability than an asset at present. We could really have done with him making it today. This is not a good start

Well we have other and still 30 overs to go

Yes, but after losing 8 wickets within the first 30 overs in the last game, conceding two wickets early on here is a little worrying.

last home game, not last game.
