Most of the changes are what the spectators asked for.

You are certainly not in the majority of Somerset supporters in terms of where you live and what you like so you may find the number of renewals is a little better than you expect based on your own preferences Mr B

I suspect most of the surveys were handed out on CC days. I don't remember seeing one and have been a member for many years.

The survey was done on line, it was talked about on here at the time.

From what I remember the survey took nearly half an hour to complete- so the average T20 fan probably didn't have the patience to complete it. To that extent it was weighted in favour of people like us, who regularly read fan sites, and by and large, are traditionalists.

Chunky your post made me smile.

I remember being disappointed at the time that my computer didn't play a six second burst of something by the Black Eyed Peas upon my successful completion of each survey question.

By the way, it's worth remembering if we hadn't all filled it out we would now be preparing for an unequal 14 match championship- with a couple of teams only being played once.

I'm watching championship cricket in June and I'm very happy with that. 6 one dayers in August/September? Well I'll cope with missing them. I'll see 7 before I go.

My wife doesn't like the 4-day stuff...

You are, of course, entirely entitled to watch what you want, but you have never shown any indication that YOU like "the 4-day stuff" - so it seems a little disingenuous to attribute your expected absence to your lovely wife.

If the weather's kind I am happy to watch any form of cricket and sometimes cycle to watch village sides, but now that Rosy is unable to work I prefer to spend my weekends with her.

Enjoy your summer and whatever cricket you choose to watch Mr. Botham.

My best wishes to both you and your wife.
