Should CP accept MOs' offer of lunch ?

Accept but take a bodyguard
Decline until he knows him better

Is this a generous offer by MO having re-considered his original, slightly dark post ?
Is it just a ruse to get CP behind the Stragglers and duff him up ?
Could it be an opportunity for CP to get the inside story and a new friend ?
Should you talk to strangers let alone accept lunches from them ?
Should you talk at all on open forae (???)
What has happened to Rob Tichner ?
Have I got nothing better to do .......................

This is a worthless poll as I will be replacing the exiter!

I wouldn't like to upset Mark not that I would.

Also be aware the twins also have a mother!

A very pleasant lady every time I've spoken with her!

I'm looking forward to a ham baguette and a latte in The Stragglers!

I understand the reasons why this has arrived but if anyone feels that this is inappropriate then please contact me by PM and I will remove it. I don't think it is meant in any malicious way but I accept others may disagree.

There was absolutely no malicious intent with this poll.Thank you for recognising that Grockle. It is certainly mischievous
and I guess an attempt at satire.I had considered a more serious post but woke up this morning with this in my mind
and went ahead. To clarify my purpose I will now expand in a more direct way.
To me this site is one of the very best ont internet. I have said before that it drew me back to actually going to games
after years of simply following through scorecards. For that ,thank you Grockle and all who sail in her. It does ,however,
become a little tedious when it descends into bickering. My judgement there. I think of this forum as being like going
down the pub with some mates and mates of mates . I welcome all opinions even though I don't agree with them all. Actually
the only person who I always agree with is LOL , who will always endear himself to me simply by having the best moniker
I've seen anywhere , ever. For a season and a half I delighted in the image of an aged Tibetan monk who had journeyed to
Somerset in his youth and discovered a lifelong affection for cricket.
I want to say to you CP that I am fine with your pessimistic attitude . You express your opinions, which seem to me hearfelt
and genuine, and I for one am happy to consider what may be a more realistic counterpoint to us "half-fullers". I don't
see you as another Loverboy, winding people up.
To MO, welcome . I would love to see you posting regularly and bringing your knowledge and insight to the party. Thanks for
rearing ( with Mrs. O of course ) two fine young men who, to me , represent a lot of what Somerset cricket is about.
To , everyone, PLEASE recognise that what is written on these pages is ONLY OPINION. Unless , of course, it's statistics.
It might be helpful to preface every post with " I think". And before responding remember it is only to an opinion.
Play nice.
And to show that my hippy heart is in the right place I offer a link , not necessarily to everyones taste, but
I think the sentiment is clear.
