Press day at the county ground 11th April 2018

Arrived in the ground @ 9am and this is what all the press were greeted with -

A very wet playing area, for the first time for a very long time we were unable to hold the photograph session on the outfield.

In the 1875 club room it was nice and dry, for the presentation on the top table we had Lewis Gregory the one day captain Tom Abell the county championship captain Andy Hurry Director of Cricket and Andrew Cornish Somerset's CEO.

The some of the press waiting for the proceedings to start.

Andrew Cornish welcomed everybody, made a speech and answered questions.

Before anybody ask no news on a signing yet.

And then on to the photos held on a hard surface near the office.

The Somerset squad with all the coaching staff.

It was nice this year that they included in the photo one with as many as they could of the office staff and catering staff. (I don't know who was holding the fort while this was going on)

And finally a photo of the playing squad with Jason Kerr and Andy Hurry.

A notable absence today was Dom Bess, I heard he was unwell.
