Limited info so far but early facts.

50s now added to T20 membership making it one day membership.

Only released starting prices so far but.....

Last year T20 £140 plus Champo £179 = £319 less £50 discount = £269

This year T20 £175 plus Champo £185 = £360 less £81 discount = £279.

So biggest hit on T20 only go-ers but they do get 50s included (if that's not too long for them!)

Weekday T20s sure to be 6.30/7pm starts with chance of midweek 50s starting 2pm too i guess.

Fixtures only a few weeks away now too.....

interesting amalgamation. It may very well be to get punters ready for 2020.

Yes lowest prices for each have both risen, BUT so has discount for doing both from £50 to £81.

Cheapest T20 up from £140 to £175
Champo is up from £179 to £185

Yes if you had a seat last year it will be saved to renew for a limited period.

Also a function for bringing a friend to sit with you and moving but sounds like a minefield to administer to me.....

So presently are we saying that the issues as last year don't seem to have been dealt with?

Depends what issues you had?

The prices have increased again at varying levels for all categories.
Allocated seating remains, quoted as being very popular with members! (Who did they survey!?)

There will.be an option to bring a friend AND sit with them, good luck with that!

On the day ticket prices yet to be revealed but i'm not expecting a reduction!

£42/43 im guessing for a Category A seat on the day. £4 a can of lager/cider, £6/7 a burger.

We are really starting to.test the affluency / loyalty / stupidity! Of our potentially customers.....

There has to be a biting point for what supporters will NOT be willing to pay, we must be getting close to it.

A T20 only fan now has a cheapest option of £175 for "hopefully" 7 matches. Average £25 each.
Rising to £230 for 7 in a Category A seat, average £33 if no washouts.....

Wasn’t attendance at last years T20 games at Taunton well down on 2017 ?

Or was it simply a case of people not turning up, despite having bought tickets ?

Other clubs,Essex being one of the latest to do so, refund members for games cancelled due to bad weather on a Pro rata rate. Surely if this was the case it would persuade a lot of people to become members rather than wait last minute to buy tickets. Surely a cancellation insurance would cover he club for any financial loss resulting.

Statement from Essex

Refunds & Exchanges will be available from Monday 31 July.

As a result of the abandoned game at The Cloudfm County Ground on Saturday 29 July 2017, spectators who purchased tickets for the game will be entitled to a refund.

The following procedures have now been put in place for those who wish to make a claim;

''Refund to card:
A refund will be available, minus a £2 per application administrative fee, for any used ticket (ie if a transaction was for x1 ticket or for x20 tickets it would still incur the max £2 fee) to be processed on to a Visa/Visa Debit/Mastercard.

Season tickets will be refunded at the pro-rata value.

Refund to ‘On Account Balance’:
The full ticket amount will be held against your ‘On Account Balance’ and can be used for future purchase of Membership and/or tickets over the next two years.''

The last paragraph sounds like an excellent solution for everyone

Do I gather that the Championship membership price has risen despite the 50-over games being excluded?

The 50s have not been excluded.

The 50s are now part of t20 membership AND still part of Champo one too.

So if you go for either T20 or Champo only then both will give you 50s too on top.

When the entertainment is as good as last year people will happily pay the bloated prices. Very few people would have felt they didn’t get their monies worth last season. However should we find ourselves out of contention (and therefore will have played some uninspiring cricket) there will be a lot of empty space in the stands.

The loyal fans will turn up win or lose.

But at £40+ per ticket the 1 off fans wont keep paying that to watch a losing team with no superstar names in it.....

Even when the club kept making a big deal out of the T20 games selling out there were always large number of empty seats, I'm not sure actual numbers of people attending were that different last season

Whay will be interesting will be the impact of games finishing later, clearly affecting those that commute home from Taunton

Personally a number of us didn't get the T20 tickets last season as we had to have an allocated seat, each game we would come with many additional people but were unable to do so as we were not allocated seats together

This problem was resolved once the club started selling the standing tickets midway through the T20 campaign (well done to Suzanne Roper for listening), and noticed these tickets were those that sold really well as the back end of the T20 campaign

On the day pricing is where the club will lose support some of the one the day prices last season were too high and no doubt affected the last minute walk up customer numbers

If you are a member in theory every day could be rained off and you get nothing back

The casual supporter that turns up for one game, will get a FULL REFUND if the game is rained off

Assume there will be a discount if both are purchase?

Sorry to go overboard with the number of replies but there is no ability to "multiquote" on this forum so had to do each reply seperately

Does anyone know if there have been discussions to upgrade the ticket site?
Not having the ability to actually select a seat seems very archaic now, just having a block to choose from is no use when trying to purchase near fellow supporters you know

Phantom if you purchase both championship and T20 membership together you will get an £81 discount from the total cost.

I think if you want to secure T20 membership with seats near friends you are best off speaking to the office. If you have membership, but want to sit with friends coming to a one-off game it sounds as though next season the office will do their best to seat you together, probably elsewhere in the ground, for that match

They've now been advertising the prices for a couple of weeks but most memberships are still saying prices from...Have they still not decided upon the allocated seating bands A , B , and C, or are they considering putting those up even more?

All categories will go up by at least inflation we were told.

I would expect single ticket prices to rise also.
This is our last year to cash in on the county T20 being the premier T20 tournament of our summer.

Membership pack renewals should be landing with existing members any day now in advance of the November 19th main general release.

Seems the 1875 and Long Room membership renewal packs are not being sent out until the New Year.

Rather strange, as details in the past have been published at the same times as general membership.
