Have I missed something? Retail Wars?

Wandering around yesterday I came across the 'SCCC' shop on the ground where the old employment agency offices used to be. Lots of 'SCCC' merchandise, collapsible cups and mugs and stuff with this 'SCCC' branding on them. No one was in the place at the time but I was wondering if I have missed something.

WHY do we now have 2 shops on site? Is there some kind of reciprocal agreement between the two to supplement each other? Is there some gap in the market that someone has noticed and so we have another outlet for non specialist kit supplies. I went into the normal shop to get a sun hat and bought some Somerset branded gloves, the caps and stuff are all in there with the normal branding. What is the 'SCCC' brand about? It seems to be going online soon. Who is making the money from it?

Is this a club/outside entity joint venture? If not where did the funding for it come from and how do the Somerset County Sports people feel about it? It all seems to have appeared but without a background story - or have I missed it all?

Yep that seems to be it - I did see something about it at Christmas but I thought it was probably a seasonal thing - seems not.
