Exterminate !!!!! Exterminate !!

In case not seen before, someone in the hated mainstream media (well, the Guardian, actually) is onto it too.

The organisation that deems to play less cricket is to be more effective, then scratches its head when they don’t have any bowlers fit and in form to play a Test, who have no batsmen putting their hands up, and saying not only am I in form, but I’ve scored runs to prove it, and I’m fit, so, pick me, who go back to a retread of Ballance!

But don’t worry, we’ll soon be able to make a killing on the Wantage Road property re- development, ditto Grace Road, Chester – le Street, Canterbury, ...............

I particularly like this paragraph in the general diatribe :
“This does not make the England and Wales Cricket Board ( don’t you mean “Exterminate Cricket Bureau” here? – Ed.) are guiltless. It is responsible for the catastrophic decision (cricket’s live now, suffer later version of PFI) to take the game away from the public and hand it to Sky – which took effect at the very moment of triumph in 2005 when the nation had just reignited its love affair with Test match cricket.”
Teddington C.C., who have had all three Waugh brothers play for them, cannot now raise a second team on Saturday’s, and smaller community clubs close by the dozen every season.

Well done the governing body !!!

And, having now read all the posts on all the discussions that that I've kept meaning to for ages but never did until today, including the "Franchise CC" one, Fozzie posted a link to this article on 20th October on that thread.
