Ken PR thanks for reminding us about Diamond’s charity fund raising. Auctions raffles of players shirts for Breast Cancer. It was not in his nature to talk about it and just got the job done.

His direct approach worked on me parting with more cash then I intended for a shirt. Bless

A lot of supporters have their favourite areas in which to sit at Lord’s, which means that their face can become familiar to those who sit in that area. However, this means that a sad part of making your first few visits of the season to Lord’s is when you realise that someone who you are used to seeing isn’t there, and you wonder what happened to them.

The same can be said about outgrounds, as I am certain that many people who didn't know Diamond were used to seeing him at Vermin Corner.

Just picked up this news as currently in South Africa. I only knew him through this site, but always enjoyed his passionate contributions. Terribly sad news, my condolences to all his family and friends.
