I am not good with modern technology. However why is it that is Not Secure.

I find that strange. I know there is little hackers can do with information on this site but i do find it strange nevertheless.

It's a new thing for all websites mainly designed to ensure that people spending money or giving personal information know they are using genuine sites and not scamming ones. Genuine Sites that do take that kind of information have a little lock on the top bar and will start https. As we don't do either we don't need to be "secure" in that sense. But if you have any concerns just make sure that you don't use your MTWD password on any other site.

If it is running well, my computer tends to have little difficulty connecting to secure websites, although in recent months, it has had difficulty in starting or retaining connection to ‘not secure’ websites. Most websites I access use a secure connection. However, as Sportnetwork sites are ‘not secure’, I have sometimes found that it takes a long time for pages on MTWD to load and that sometimes I have to make a few attempts to ensure that posts I make actually go through.

As I found that accessing and posting on MTWD was taking more time than I felt it should, I was very close earlier this week to deciding that I would cease bothering to use the site, which would have been sad considering it is a big part of my support of Middlesex. However, I looked at my security settings on my browser and turned safe browsing off, and thankfully this seems to have improved the situation, although it hasn’t completely eradicated the problem.

As I have a routine every Friday night of clearing my browsing data before going to bed and then performing a deep scan of my computer overnight, I would like to think I am doing enough to protect myself against security issues.
