Sam Robson laughs like a schoolboy, Dexy guards the cup Corey holds his heart in fright, Andrew Strauss and Scott Newman try to hide under the flag while Steven Crook throws up! .... Meanwhile Murts looks on unimpressed with how he might look in the mirror!!!

Chris Rogers has just informed Sam Robson that Dex and AC are in fact twins and that is why Dex is wearing one of AC's spare shirts.

(Nothing to do with him being non playing captain and him having no kit with him for the big day).

Thank you everyone for your entries. I feel the standard has been really high for this caption.

Lower Mound is back from his holiday that was offered to give him time to weigh up the many amusing options. The results will be announced at some stage this week. Any last minute dot com efforts will be accepted, if submitted very early this week.

Thanks for making this such a difficult choice, as all the entries were fantastic.

In third place is Barmy Kev's caption about Scott Newman holding the flag.
In second place is Kimmy's caption about Barmy Kev streaking on the pitch.
In first place is Diamond's hilarious comment about Simmo getting hold of JW. It made me laugh, but I don't know about JW!

I am looking forward to the next caption.

Yes, well done to Diamond.

However, I was nowhere near Grace Road that day (and was instead confined to home), and it is something which gives me great sadness which I don't know if I will ever get over, as I felt left out of things considering I was also suspended from MTWD at the time. I could have shelled out money to buy a train ticket, and the price of doing so wouldn't have been any more expensive than watching a football club play in a European Cup final, which is what I see as being the equivalent of watching Middlesex secure the County Championship division two title. Had I not been suspended from MTWD, I could have asked whether anyone could give me a lift. I doubt anyone would have said yes due to most of those attending staying in Leicester, but at least it would prevent me from dying wondering (not that I am aware of my death being imminent in any way).

Hopefully next winter we will be able to add captions to Middlesex's players celebrating winning the County Championship division one title, and hopefully I will be there if they do so.

Well done Diamond. You obviously tactically played for the judges mind set.

You now have that difficult option. A miniscule prize which you will receive when I remember and hope you're at the same venue. Or would you prefer to have the privilege of judging next months competition? No pressure on but please advise me before end of week.

No mind massaging of the judge of this months comp was intended, just looked a little deeper into the photo than some of the obvious suspects ie Robbo.

Very good standard of competition again this month, go on make my job hard for the next one folks.
