With the IPL authorities going ahead with shifting of all matches of Deccan Charges out of their home town AP, fans in Mumbai can rejoice with three matches of the Deccans shifted to the nearby satellite town of Mumbai.

Navi Mumbai, which was initially hosting one league match involving DC and KKR along with the fight for 3rd place and the Finals, will now be hosting more matches.

However, the situation remains tense between the DC management and BCCI over this new development. The Deccan Chargers have threatened to pull out of the IPL altogether if the matches are not held in their home town.

The BCCI have however released a statement that the political situation in AP is not right for IPL.

Is the BCCI over-reacting than what the real situation is, or is it that they are pressured by the government? The bidding process for the season saw both the parties blaming each other when there were no bidders for players from Pakistan, while last year saw shifting of the game to South Africa due to elections.

If the present situation escalates and DC pulls out, it will be great loss to IPL and fans in AP.

We fans need all matches to be held, and nothing can beat than seeing our team in our own field.
