Dravid plays a classic Test innings
By ICF Staff
November 19 2009
Rahul Dravid's 177 in the first innings in Ahmedabad against Sri Lanka was a vintage effort, with the veteran batsman at his best.

Rahul Dravid reached 11,000 Test runs and more importantly took his team from 31/4 to 386/6 by the end of day 1. He maintained a strike rate of 71, hitting 175 in a single day with not a single false shot throughout the innings. He became the 5th highest run maker in Test cricket.

Coupled with his underrated catches record, he is an MVP of post-90s Indian cricket.
