If you are on the photograph, or you know any of the players, please contact us and we will publish your story.

Our anonymous correspondent says: "I represented the county during 1953 and I had trials at Trent Bridge, after which I played in the Bassetlaw League with Worksop and Steetley for 35 years. I now umpire in the same league.

During my period in the league I played with Freddie Stocks, Eric Martin, Jack Kelly, Arthur Underwood, Ted Blagg, Ted Ward, Alan Gill, John Loates, Ian Davison and Kevin Saxilby. I also played against Derek Randall, Tim Robinson, M. Hall, C. Matthews, N. Hill, Mike Smedley, (all ex-Notts) and C. Gladwin, Mike Hendrick, Alan Ward, Harold Rhodes, Geoff Miller and E. Smith (all ex-Derbys)."
