STARTING TIMES FOR MATCHES AMENDED FROM THIS SATURDAY

Clubs are advised that with the beginning of August’s matches this Saturday the starting times for all matches have been amended owing to possible difficulties with the light at the end of games.

Last season many games were affected by bad light towards the end of the matches which cast a shadow over several promotion and relegation issues and also left umpires with an unenviable job of having to decide when enough was enough.

With this in mind the league rules were changed at last November’s A.G.M. and from this Saturday 2nd August matches in all sections from Division 1 to Division 10 will start at 1.00 p.m. throughout the month.

Teams and umpires are advised to take note of this and report to the relative grounds accordingly. The starting time stays the same in September in Division 2 to Division 10 with Division 1 reverting back a further 30 minutes to 12.30 p.m.
