Should the SNCL hold informal meetings?

Should the league hold informal forums during the year? The question has been posed a couple of times recently in the message board, but do YOU think it would be a good idea? More importantly, would you attend? Let us know in our latest opinion poll.

On the message board, Joe Mangal says: "I think the league should have a general meeting for all clubs twice a year to ask clubs their views on how the league is progressing, and what clubs would like from their leagues. At the AGM it is not really possible to discuss matters at length, so meetings during the year could be useful for clubs to put there views to the management committee."

It has been suggested that two cricket league forums are set up to discuss matters relating to the league, one before the start of season and then one after the season. Clubs would not be forced to attend but if they would like their views heard then attendance would be a must.

Members of the management committee would attend these meetings and matters up for discussion would be league rules, structure and any other matters that clubs feel they would like to be heard by the management committee.

This forum would give clubs a chance to talk face to face with management committee representatives other than at AGM, where matters are not able to be discussed because of other major items that need to be dealt with.

So what do you think? Would you attend? Let us know in the opinion poll. To see how voting is going, click here.
