Flintoff wont be rushed back

Latest news on Freddie Flintoff, who hopes to be fit enough for the Ashes, and hopefully his chances of this will be improved if he is not rushed back into action for his county, which is what Lancashire coach Watkinson wants.
Flintoff will not be rushed back. This is great news as no one (apart from the Aussies), wants Freddie to suffer from further injury, and will then miss the Ashes. Mike Watkinson is determined not to be tempted to play him early fro Lancashire. He performed poorly in his first game back against Middlesex, but this was most probably because of the injury. Flintoff is beig regularly monitored to ensure full fitness as soon as possible. Watkinson reckons that he is only 50% fit at the moment, so obviously still has a long way to go, until full fitness.
