Whatmore speaks to media
By Jon Artman May 8 2005

Whatmore knows exactly how tough things are going to be for Bangladesh. He is under no illusionists and he must prepare for the Npower Test Series with England, the one-day series with them, and the Natwest Series with England, Bangladesh and Australia. Whatmore knows already that his team can easily struggle in English conditions, and how he must change that. Now they have real prospects in their team, players who can shine, and change the reputation of their team. Habibul Bashar, is already showing great potential, and has already scored some great centuries. Mohammed Rafique, one of the mroe experieced players, is steadily improving. Young all-rounder Aftab Ahmed and Enamul Haque jnr and Mohammed Rafique, left-arm spinners from different ends of the age spectrum. Bangladesh will have a hard fight. But with their growing talent and confidence, who knows what will happen...
