2nd test: England salvage draw
By English Cricket December 1 2005
Pakistan: 462 & 268-9 England: 446 & 164-6 Pakistan drew with England. Pakistan lead the series after 2 tests 1-0. MOM - Inzamam Ul-Haq

Centuries from Ian Bell and Kevin Pietersen were matched by twin centuries from Inzamam as England scraped to a draw in the second test in Pakistan. It was another below par performance from England as they failed to capitalise on numerous opportunites afforded by the oppositions poor fielding and some curious umpiring.

The other major news to come out of this test was the 3 match ban handed to Shahid Afridi. Afridi, who otherwise had a great match with 92 and 4 wickets, was seen blatantly scuffing the pitch, when play was temporarily interrupted due to a bomb scare.
