Warwickshire's exciting batsman Ian Bell has been called up as cover for the injured Mark Butcher and the doubtful Nasser Hussain for the series against New Zealand.

Warwickshire's exciting 19-year old batsman Ian Bell has been added to the squad currently touring New Zealand because of injury worries concerning Mark Butcher and captain Nasser Hussain. The former England under-19 captain averages 55.37 at first class level after just 13 matches, but has obviously impressed enough to be picked ahead of the like of David Fulton, who had an impressive record in 2001.
