When victory was achieved, Mee was on 98, and former Premier League batsman Bailey was on 55. Last week, the pair put on an even more formidable display of hitting as they despatched the Cromford Meadows bowlers to all parts of Langley Mill. The pair put on an unbeaten 288 for the first wicket, far too many for the Meadows who hung on to gain the losing draw. Mee finished on 148 and Bailey on 104 with Mee being particularly vicious, especially after passing his hundred. Meadows ended on 184 for 8.
