Woodhouse were bowled out for just 35 (Sam Wainwright 4-21), which De La Salle passed with nine wickets to spare. University Staff made a useful 194-5 (D.Needham 54, S.Rowley 46) away at Sheffield Works Department. Shepherd (6-48) bowled his side to victory as Works were all out for 142, despite a belligerent innings of 45 from Peter Holmes. Simon Westwell (99) and Ashley Kirk (56) led Baslow to a challenging 225-8 (Walker 5-60) but Centralians held out for the draw at 127-8 (Stowe 53 no). It was a similar story at Abbeydale Park, where visitors Hathersage scored 186-8 (Burnip 52, Seal 4-61) and home side Old Edwardians / Collegiate replied with 120-8. Holmesfield kept top place in Division Two with a win at home to Sheffield Works Department II. Nick Crapper took 4-27 to restrict Works to 102, despite 70 from skipper Andy Marples. Holmesfield reached their target with three wickets down. Ashford In The Water dismissed Stocksbridge II for just 58 (Price 5-10) and gained outright second place with a nine wicket win. Millhouses posted 200-9 (Dunkley 62, Buchan 5-69) but lost to third placed Grindleford by five wickets (Tom Outram 73 no). Chesterfield Barbarians were sent back for 110 (Ghose 4-11) by Parkhead II, who ran out winners with three wickets to spare (Warwick 41 no, Sharman 6-36). James Luckraft survived an early drop to reach 103 not out and guide Bakewell to 207-4. Strugglers Old Edwardians / Collegiate II were then bowled out for 71 with Roy Peach bagging 6-20. Calver continued their steady climb to the summit of Division Three with a win over Hathersage II. J.Mundy (79) and S.Hallows (58) saw Calver register 209-7. In reply, Hathersage were dismissed for 107 with Doug Howie taking 4-12. University Staff II took advantage of a blank weekend for second placed Centralians II by recording a narrow win over Dronfield Sports II. Batting first, Sports made 151 (F.Raja 59, S.Khan 5-78). Roles were then reversed as Khan held his nerve to score 52 not out and steer his team to a one wicket win, despite 5-50 from Raja. Laycocks 164-8 was enough to see them to a 57 run triumph over Hundall II. The evergreen Paul Lally took 6-17 to roll over Dronfield Woodhouse II for just 84 and see De La Salle II to a six wicket victory (Green 54 no). Bottom side Millhouses posted an impressive 214-5 (Azhar Khan 52, R.Dewsbury Jnr 59 no) and gained a winning draw over Calow, who made 175-3 (J.Smith 59). Richland Wanderers survived a scare to defeat Chesterfield Barbarians II by three wickets. The Barbs were bowled out for 115 (Mark Wilmott 6-23). In reply, Richland collapsed to 55-6 but were saved by a faultless 36 not out from twelve year old David Toft. Lee Keys (5-28) and Peter Evans (4-43) helped Ridgeway to dismiss Great Longstone for 133 (Michael Pepper 56). Geoff Woodhead (76 no) guided Ridgeway home to maintain their second spot. / AGD I made 140-7 at home to fourth placed Baslow II. Paul Ramsdale's
6-32 saw BT to a 26 run success. Coal Aston scored 177-5 (Barry Eke 45)
away at Transport, who were skittled for just 58. Zingari rattled up an
imposing 260-5 declared (Rupra 68 no, Abei 50 no, Smith 4-47) and rolled
