Given that John Higgins isn't known for biting his tongue when things aren’t going his way, no one will be surprised to learn the Wizard of Wishaw reacted angrily at the scheduling of a new ranking tournament in Bahrain. Like Paddy blaming the dog after he's farted, Higgins hit out at World Snooker for the "shocking conditions" after his World Championship exit in April. World Snooker received another earful for a scheduling clash that will force Higgins to choose between Barry Hearn's Premier League and the tournament in Bahrain.
