Championship Betting - Gone Out Of His Wayne
By Paddy Power November 22 2008
We can't imagine why anyone would be eager to leave Birmingham, but for whatever reason, Wayne Routledge is delighted to have joined Cardiff City on loan. Routledge has found his first team opportunities limited at Villa Park and he says he almost bit off Martin O'Neill's hand when he mentioned the possibility of going to Ninian Park. "Once the opportunity to join Cardiff City and play matches came along I jumped at it. This is a great place to be for me, I'm really happy to be here," said Routledge with enthusiasm that the combined power of Charlotte Church, Shirley Bassey and the Cardiff Tourist Board would find hard to muster. Can Wayne make an instant impact and help Rout his new team as they visit Plymouth? Sat. 12.45pm SS1
