Ireland v Argentina Betting - Just Kid-ing
By Paddy Power November 22 2008
Despite Ronan O'Gara's comments about the lack of passion within the Irish squad, coach Declan Kidney was happy that the comments wouldn't have a detrimental effect on the team. Kidney reckons the Munster man's words were "a matter of interpretation." Although, not in an "understanding the Cork dialect can be difficult" kind of way. "Sometimes he just blurts out his honesty - it's his own inner frustration. The lads are innately honest. Ireland is a brilliant place to live and slagging each other off is an innate part of it that we all enjoy, but sometimes we slag each other off too much," the boss explained, resisting the urge to allow the Munster players to wear the red jersey against Argentina. It's a Munst-win game for the Irish! Sat 2.45pm RTE2/BBC
