An uncertain quantity at the moment as Ben hasn't been able to get onto the field except for the odd seconds run out and some friendlies due to the fact that he picked up a season destroying injury almost as soon as he arrived in Taunton after signing from Northamptonshire and missed the whole of the 2007 season.

Tall and rangey allrounder who pushes Caddick for the highest player in the side, he is a tight bowler (176 first class wickets) who can hold an end up with the bat (average around 20 but a first class hundred to his name).  We'll have to wait and see how valuable he is but he's a welcome addition to the squad
