2 Days of Good Stuff @ Scarboro

Batting down to our boots at the Scarborough Fayre. Our Championship cetainly isn't over yet with nearly everyone getting into biggish double figures as we set Yorkshire a little mountain to climb to get a draw.
The festival at Scarborough has been good for us before and the last two days of the Championship game there have very definitely been ours. Every member of the team except poor old Matt Wood had a drink at the runs fountain today (and he can be forgiven after last week's heroic work). But he is the new Official Hero of the Week so there is some good news for him.

Leading the way was Peter Bowler with 84 but Piran Holloway, Keith Parsons, Keith Dutch and Rob Turner all went over 50 and the guys at the back end put on 53 before Burnsy declared on 498 for 9 to have a go at the Tykes in the last hour.

And that paid off as well. Matt Bulbeck made sure neither Wood troubled the scorers much in the first innings by trapping the Yorkshire version LBW for 18 as the home side finished a mere 452 behind and 302 from the follow on target.

What would a good day with the ball mean to us tomorrow? Well lets wait and see if we get it shall we? Coxy's back for the Sunday match and Johnson has started jogging again so everyone put your money on our season starting to click from here on in.
