Neil has worked a long apprenticeship from the early days of being allowed to play in International visitor fixtures to becoming a true part of an opening partnership with Marcus Trescothick. Poorly described as a 'Trescothick clone' he has developed into a real strokemaker in his won right and plays second fiddle to no-one nowadays. It's a big season for Mr Edwards and he is a big part of the plan to take the first division by storm. If he fires then Somerset fires and others quiver in fear!! |
