More in 2008?
By Grockle May 7 2006
THE ALL ROUNDERS - Jacks of all trades and masters of what? Well some are good with the ball and some with the bat but a master of both? Well they are rare treasures indeed! Is Peter the real thing? The MCC saw something in him over the winter and he was close to being the best in his class last year. is ther more to come?

Peter went away and then came back.  As it says in his cricinfo summary, his main problem was inconsistency.  Possibly he took some time to learn to listen and take note of what was being said.

All credit to him, it seems to have worked and his 30 wickets and 800 runs were a real asset to his home county last year.

We expect great things from him, the choice of him as an MCC captain in the winter shows a new level of maturity and that is going to work in his favour this year.

A future Somerset captain?  A future England allrounder?  They are both possible but it's all in the hands of Mr Trego and we need some good stuff from him this year with the ball and the bat!!
