A Heave At Hove?
By Free Entry To Lord's
June 5 2009
Many thanks to Free Entry To Lord's, who has supplied this mainly photo piece from Hove. The tickets were free but the chips weren't, apparently. Also, by the sound of it, Middlesex fans should have been paid to turn out to watch our side in this T20 shocker. Lovely pictures, though.

My friend was given some free tickets for the hove t20 game by a customer of his, so off we set. we had a pleasant drink in the cricketers before the match, unaware that we were probably enjoying the highlight of the evening already!

Hove perspectives

billy g was bowled 2nd over and it was all downhill really.

A Familiar T20 Sight This Season

Briefly henderson annoyed sussex but after clearing the ropes once, he tried the same very next ball and was caught by hamilton brown on the longest boundary at cow corner.

Try a Heave At Hove

We adjourned for some food and drink and i was disgusted to have to pay £2.50 for possibly the smallest portion of chips ever, well at least we got in for free...

It was obvious that Joyce was going to be not out at the finish and see his new side home, we did give him a few cat calls and shouts of "Judas" just to keep him on his toes.

A Pack of Panthers Retreating

We left a before the end and to be honest, wished we hadn't bothered in the first place, especially as Victoria Underground station was closed upon arrival back in London. an annoying walk followed to Knightsbridge, I arrived home at 1.00am.

Looks like lots of empty spaces in the stands. Further evidence of novelty wearing off?

We are not exactly a big draw this season.
