Charterhouse Blue?
By John Adcock Feat. JC67
June 17 2009
Many thanks to John Adcock for supplying, through JC67, these wonderful images of Charterhouse School, where the Middlesex Seconds are playing the Surrey Seconds. Brought back some memories for yours truly having visited there back in the dim and distant past - believe me the place hasn't changed a bit. Lovely images and it transpires that Middlesex Dinkies are on top to boot,

Very good School Charterhouse. Top ten School. Not produced many cricketers recently. My school Stowe interestingly have Darren Gough as coach and his son has just started is in the third form. Goughie apparently cant get used to being called SIR by the Stowe boys. Great man Goughie as coach. I had the great Mike Pasty Hariss. Top man and Middlesex too. Good Ump too. hat was stiffs score?

2's v Surrey ended as a draw. Surrey 330 and 234 (wickets for Hendo, Burton, Toor 2, Robson, Richo 2 and Malan 2) MCCC 350-5 dec and 144-6 (Toor 46no, Simpson 26no and London 26.

Toor and Simpson came together with us in trouble at 73-6 and saw out the day.
