Middx slump to poor defeat
By Barmy Kev
July 8 2004
An away following of Seaxe Man, Lord of the Chairs, Paul Gilderserve with a surprise appearance of Lord Lucan made the trip to Maidstone in hope of sun and a "Sex win. Sadly, failed on both accounts.

Andrew Symonds, in a one man show slaughtered us. Had Keegan repeated his spectucalur catch of Afridi on 1, when Symonds on 11 it would have been a different story. Instead, 18 fours and three sixes later a 43-ball 112 saw Kent chase a D&L 18 overs 157 to win in 13.1 overs. No contest

Keegan (42 of 14) was our best batsman, but really this game was never close.Symonds performance superb. The fans who chanted his name, probably couldn't spell it
