Trott Leaves Ashes Tour with Illness

England batsman Jonathan Trott has left England's Ashes tour party with a long standing stress related illness, needless to say, everyone here at England Cricket Sportnetwork wish 'Trotty' a speedy recovery and hope he is back in England colours again soon........

England coach Andy Flower told BBC Sport: "He needs time away from this environment and time with his family."

"Jonathan has been struggling with this condition for quite a while," added Flower. "We have been on tour for about a month and he has had his ups and downs through that month and it is not directly related to that."

It is not thought that comments from David Warner that Trott was "Poor and Weak" led to Trotts decision to head home to be with his family.

The comments did however cause skipper Alastair Cook to call the comments 'disrespectful', a view backed up by Flower, who insisted it didn't have an impact on Trott having to head home.
