Michael Di Venuto marked his first game for Durham with a century against Worcestershire but the rest of the team struggled to support him.
Michael Di Venuto marked his first game for Durham with a century against Worcestershire but the rest of the team struggled to support him.
Michael Di Venuto followed in the footsteps of fellow Australian Mike Hussey with a century on debut for Durham. Di Venuto joined Durham from Derbyshire and he opened with another new signing Will Smith against Worcestershire.
Captain Dale Benkenstein won the toss and chose to bat first at New Road but with the exception of Di Venuto Durham are struggling at 198/6.
