Snake Boots!

You can hardly blame Steve Hamison for a a lacklustre display in Colombo. They might have delivered his cricket boots in time for him to play against a Presidents XI but he would have been better off if he'd worn his snake boots! That's because a monster was spotted behind the sightscreen and every time Harmy marched back to start his run off he must have been more than distracted!

As a result he bowled six overs at a cost of 8 runs an over and didn't take a wicket! Still he's a notorious slow starter [the Aussies will never let him forget it] and he'll come good in the end.

No such problem for Colly who no doubt felt safer from any venom out in the middle. He notched 51 with only Pieterson failing among the recognised  batsmen in the warm-up game

Hopefully Harmy will be able to bowl lots of overs in the final warm up match. 6 overs is no way to judge his form.
