An Excellent Limited Overs Start

Having made a distinctly rusty start to their County Championship campaign, Yorkshire have managed to hit the ground running in the Royal London One-Day Cup, recording an emphatic win over Nottinghamshire in their own backyard in a surprisingly one-sided encounter. This was a real team effort, with Joe Root excelling in the run chase and Tim Bresnan taking a lion share of the wickets, while the bowlers did not concede a single extra. Hopefully the Tykes can sustain this form in subsequent one-day outings, although consistency is often difficult to attain in limited overs contests - even for the best of teams.
