Very good that this competition is happening. Average team scores in today's matches are much higher than in the Blast.

I note that playing for Lightning are Arlott and Boycott.

Good that Rachael is recognised in this way. I am very happy to support Arlott.

I may have said before on here very many moons ago that when as a young man I was doing a course leading to the MCC Youth Coaching Award Rachael came along to help the South African Test player 'Pom Pom' Fellowes-Smith who was running the sessions. PPF-M asked Rachael whether she wore a box when batting. "No, I wear a man-hole cover" was her reply.
