Day four looks like the FA Museum and the Michael Jackson Statue.

What can I say that hasn't already been said this season? Sure, Lancs have a better bowling attack than us, but it is unacceptable to collapse (again). I had to go out at 5.15 just after Robbo was out and I said to my wife "The Middlesex batting collapse is on". How prophetic. Even at my most pessimistic I didn't envisage 6 down and nobody in double figures.

It is now beyond embarrassing. My Yorkshire supporting mates (I live in York) are pitying me now, not even taking the mickey, but sympathising about having to put up with such abject performances. I can't wait for this season to end and just hope that the off season brings changes in management, personnel, or performance. Or maybe all three?

Don’t think it’s there anymore (the MJ statue that is).
The FA museum is quite good however.

Day 4 at the Museum? what about day 3 - looks like following on and being done dusted by tomorrow evening.
To think the hierarchy were still talking about promotion just one game ago - what Middlesex team are they watching exactly? Certainly not the one I've been watching this season...…...more chance of finishing bottom 3 than top 3 idiots

I think words fail most of us - it could well be over by tea tomorrow.
There is something fundamentally wrong with this club stretching from Mr. Fraser at the top to the colts at the bottom.
Has anyone decent graduated through the academy ranks and had a successful England career (not a run of half a dozen games) since Mike Gatting?

An extended run the answer has to be no. Fraser and Tufnell with 40 odd caps have to be the last around turn of the Millennium.

Yup.

Sack the colts.

Sack the entire Under 15 team.

That's a new one on me.

At times like thus I wonder what Richard Scott is thinking. All us experts thought, 'Sack the coach', and that hasn't worked, so clearly he wasn't the problem. On that basis there's no particular reason to suppose Fraser is the problem either,

An overseas batsman available for all season is a must. Max Holden would find life a whole lot easier if he came in with the score on 200-3 after 60 overs against tiring bowlers, rather than 20-3 after 6 overs with the bowlers scenting blood (yes, I know he's batting 3 this match).

Even Kevin Hand was saying things must change. I mean, if Kevin Hand is demoralised, then you know it's serious.

By the way, I didn't mean that to sound like I was having a go at BBTC. It just made me laugh a bit, because all the comments on here and twitter and Facebook have been in the upward direction, 'Sack the DOC, sack the CEO' etc.

I do realise you weren't actually blaming the colts, but it just appealed to my sense of humour that everyone seems to be thrashing around looking for people to blame and take their frustration out on.

It's not the embarrassment that shrivels you, it is the abandonment of all hope.

We should have played Hollman. Apparent he’s a decent bat

From 34-6 to (currently) 304-8 and still going strong - this is the sort of thing which normally happens to us in reverse! There's nothing like a wagging tail to either frustrate or exhilarate supporters.

Superb from the Bury Bradman.

Today it was Lancashire's turn to look bedraggled and despondent.

Lanky have 8 overs to survive tonight.

Davies obligingly commits suicide in the first over!
