English Cricket Board National Academy

The National Academy is in place to ensure that possible future England players get a good grounding in cricket, by representing the ECB in competitive matches.

Coached by Aussie tough-man Rod Marsh, the squad train hard in the hope that they will one day go on to play full international cricket. Some players who have represented the academy have already played for England, such as Graeme Swann, Alex Tudor and Chris Schofield.
