Worcestershire have today announced that 5 players will be released at the end of the current season,the 5 being released will be on top of the retirements of Paul Pollard & Stuart Lampitt. Worcestershire have today released a statement stating that Matt Rawnsley,Duncan Catterall and Depesh Patel will all leave the club at the end of this season. 2nd XI players Gurdeep Kandola and Nathan Round will also not be having their contracts renewed. The 5 players being released is on top of the previously announced retirements of Paul Pollard and Stuart Lampitt.

Speaking to the official Worcestershire CCC website,Chief Executive Mark Newton said "We have decided to reduce the size of our squad from 23 Players to either 19 or 20 next season. We wish all five Players well for the future and thank them for their services to the Club.”
