Lincoln City have wisely decided not to renew the loan deal of defender Nicky Eaden from League 1 side, Nottingham Forest. Despite winning 4 of the 7 games he played in, City fans have been highly unimpressed with the former Wigan defender and it's a case of goodbye and good riddance.

Eaden made his debut in the Imp's 3-1 win at home to Accrington Stanley before helping City to wins against Shrewsbury, Macclesfield Town and Wycombe Wanderers. He also suffered 3 defeats during his time at Sincil Bank, losing to MK Dons, Boston and Bury. Despite this better than average record, Eaden become one of the least popular player's in the City squad after several half-hearted performances and you'd be hard pushed to find a person who thought he made a valuable contribution and he's loan expiring has been greeted with joy by Imps fans.

Jamie Sherlock has also left the Imps to go on loan to Ilkeston Town.
