When Lincoln face Swindon Town on Saturday, they will have a chance to shut a sore-loser up once and for all. Ex-Rushden boss, Barry Hunter has been appointed as temporary assistant boss at the County ground. The self-important manager is also one of the biggest sore-losers in football.

Cast your minds back about 19 months to a game at Rushden and Diamonds. In that game, Rushden had taken the lead thanks to a Billy Sharp effort before Yeo equalised minutes later. With 15 minutes of the game to go, Rushden striker Drewe Broughton stomped on Gareth McAuley and was sent off. City scored three times within 8 minutes and won the game by a comfortable 4-1, that is City's only ever win over Rushden.

However, Barry Hunter then decided to take it upon himself to describe the Imps as "ugly footballers" and that we hadn't deserved anything from the game. City subsequently released a DVD of the victory and it proved what a sore-loser Hunter as the Imps played semi-decent football. Within a year, the master tactician had gotten Rushden relegated, much to the amusement of all the Imps' fans.

Now Swindon Town have decided to install him as temporary assistant manager following Wise and Poyet's departure to Leeds. Barry Hunter has already stated his intention not to turn Swindon into the new Rushden by promising the side to have pride, passion, enthusiasm and giving value for money, so in other words, totally different to the "Brazil and Diamonds" side he managed until earlier this year.
