Lincoln City's Jamie Forrester has won the Powerade Player of the Month for the month of October after 2 hat-tricks. The striker scored 8 goals in October's 4 league games as well as setting up many others and was given the ward by Coca-Cola League representative, Chris Kamara.

Forrester finished ahead of 2nd placed Glyn Hurst of Bury and ex-Imp Dean Keates at Walsall. In the space of the month, Forrester went from not even being in the top scorers list to being on the top of the pile. It's the 2nd time in as many months that City have won it after Forrester's strike partner, Mark Stallard won it for September.

It is the second award a man at City has been awarded in the space of a few days after John Schofield won "Manager of the Month" after City's perfect points tally from October. However, City have been knocked off the top of the table after yesterday's defeat at Stockport County.
