Swindon game gets TV treatment

The home game with Swindon Town in late March has been rearranged so that it can be shown live on Sky Sports Television. It will now be played on a Sunday lunch time rather than the original Saturday, ironic considering that Swindon refused to change the date earlier in the season.

When the fixture list was announced, City asked Swindon if the game at Sincil Bank, could be re-arranged from the 24th of March to the 23rd, Swindon rejected this, claiming they wanted as many fans as possible to be behind them and a Friday night wouldn't allow this. It'll be interesting to see how many make the trip for a 1:30pm kick off on Sunday March 25th.

It will mean that City will feature on Sky three times in little over 10 weeks as City's games at MK Dons and Walsall have already been agreed to be shown on Sky.
