Attacking midfielder agrees to City deal

Rangers attacking midfielder Dany N'Guessan has agreed to sign a contract that will keep him at Sincil Bank until July 2009. After being given a selection of clubs to choose to talk to, the former Auxerre man chose to come to Lincoln City after already playing in this division for Boston United.

N'Guessan becomes the third signing of the transfer window for City, after Spencer Weir-Daley signed on loan, and Aston Villa youngster Paul Green also joined. After spending time at Boston earlier in the season, the Pilgrims were keen to make N'Guessan a permanent member of the squad at York Street, but they couldn't afford his wages.

This could be a good omen for City as Adam Boyd had a loan spell at Boston 3 years ago that saw the Pilgrim's keen to sign him permanently but couldn't afford him, Boyd then went on to score 46 goals in just over 2 years.

The young French player will be officially unveiled later today at a press conference.
