League One or League Two? That is the question that will get answered in the next few weeks...but what awaits us either way? Over the next few days we will be comparing some of the grounds in League's One and Two and seeing why we MUST win promotion this time around.

IF WE GO UP TO LEAGUE ONE

Elland Road

Capacity 40,204

Elland Road is the home of Leeds United Football Club and with an official capacity of 40,204, it will be the biggest ground in the bottom 2 divisions of League football. Elland Road is filled with many top-of-the-range facilities, including several food outlets, several club shops, a huge video screen, and a ticketing system that requires you to scan in a barcode on your ticket to go in. It's a ground that doesn't belong in the lower 2 divisions, but Leeds United will be in League One next season, joining a whole host of former Premiership sides.

If City do go up to League One then Elland Road will be one of many away grounds the City fans will look forward to visiting, and it would be highly surprising if we don't fill the away end.

IF WE STAY IN LEAGUE 2

THE FRAZER EAGLE STADIUM

Capacity 5,057

Accrington Stanley have the smallest stadium in the Football League, a stadium only capable of holding little of 5,000 fans and certainly has the non-league feel to it. You'd need nearly 8 of these to have the same capacity as Elland Road. On City's visit to the Frazer Eagle earlier this season, you'd have been forgiven for thinking you'd gone to a ground that it in Lincoln United's division. Whether it be the fact there's no gates on the away turnstiles, or that the supposed main stand only holds what appears to be around 1,000 fans, this stadium certainly isn't one for the faint-hearted.

I highly doubt that many City fans would go to Accrington Stanley next season for a normal game (i/e, one that doesn't decide promotion, or one that isn't the first game of the season) and it wouldn't make a change as attendances for a League club have been absolutely shocking, getting as low as 1,300. You'd be hard pushed to find a worse ground in the top 5 divisions in this country.
