Fixture changes confirmed

Lincoln City have confirmed that three of the fixtures for the next season have been changed. Two of our home games have been brought forward 19 hours and 15 minutes, whilst the same can be applied to the Imps trip to Vale Park, the first visit to that ground since a 2-1 defeat thre in the FA Cup in 2006.

City will face Accrington Stanley and Rochdale at Sincil Bank on Friday nights. It will be the second time in three seasons that we will face Accrington on a Friday evening, the previous occasion being a very convincing 3-1 victory for the Imps. The new date for the fixture will be Friday December 12th.

Rochdale will visit Sincil Bank on Friday October 10th, the first time they'll visit City for a night game since the 2004/5. The game saw City take a deserved lead through Matt Bloomer, conceding a very late equaliser. City have won two of the three meetings at Sincil Bank since then.

Just a few weeks after we thrashed Rochdale 7-1 at Sincil Bank, we travelled to Port Vale for an FA Cup tie. The game ended 2-1 to Port Vale but the Imps were hardly overawed by their higher league opponents. You can see our trip to Port Vale for that game here. The new date for this fixture will be Friday February 20th.
