Peterborough have tried yet again to sign Ben Futcher but yet again, have had an approach rejected by City. They are the first club to come in for the player since he put himself on the transfer list 2 months ago.

BARRY'S AT IT AGAIN

However, Barry Fry has a different valuation of him than City do as Peterborough's bid is believed to be considerably lower than the ridiculous £350,000 valuation. We have made a bid for Ben Futcher which is well below Lincoln City's asking price of £350,000," said Fry. "But we are hoping to go back with an improved offer and hope they reduce their asking price a little bit. I can see the former happening, but not the latter and chances are that Futch will be playing for the Imps when we kick off our league campaign on 3 and a half weeks.
