Keith has yet again turned down money after rejecting the £100,000 bid from Peterborough for Ben Futcher. Keith is still hopeful that the player will sign a new contract so we don't loss him on a free. NEWSFLASH KEITH : PLAYERS WHO WANT TO LEAVE WON'T SIGN NEW CONTRACTS
Ben Futcher is set to be forced to spend the remainder of his contract at Sincil Bank after Keith Alexander rejected a £100,000 bid from Peterborough United for the 6'6 defender. It appears that Keith doesn't realise that if we don't accept Peterborough's next bid (if they even make one) then they can just wait until the end of the season.
Futcher handed in his transfer request just weeks before the new season kicked off and despite numerous rumours of big clubs being interested, only Peterborough have made an official bid, two have been rejected as Keith is waiting until his valuation of £350,000 is met. A valuation which will more than likely mean that Futcher will just leave for free at the end of the season. Keith even offered him a new contract in an attempt to make sure that at the end of the season, if he still wants to go, that they can cash in on him.

NEWSFLASH KEITH : PLAYERS WHO WANT TO LEAVE WON'T SIGN NEW CONTRACTS
For a start, £350,000 is a ridiculous valuation of Futcher, hell, even £100,000 is but now Barry Fry has ended his interest (for now) but will more than likely come back in at the end of the season when Futcher can leave for free and City won't get a single penny for it. Why don't you just accept the bids Peterborough have been making and getting money for a player who isn't really worth that much.
Stay tuned for next summer as Futch leaves for Peterborough for zilch. That's £0 Keith, not £350,000 like the club wants, £0, pounds=0, zero poundage. He isn't going to sign a contract, everyone can see it except for you, get rid now whilst we can still cash in, after all, apparantly we have a great squad depth don't we Keith.
