Jamie Cureton on his way?

Heavy rumours are circulating that Swindon striker Jamie Curton could be on his way to Sincil Bank on loan. The striker has fallen out of favour at the County ground and several fans have claimed they saw the proven goal-scorer around the Sincil Bank area, leading to numerous rumours.

Cureton was a proven goal scorer with Reading and scored the goal that sent them up when his neat chip equalised against Brentford to see the blues finish above the Bees. Cureton also scored a staggering 74 goals in 3 seasons and he has an average of a goal every 2.5 games in his career that has seen him at Bournemouth, Bristol Rovers, Norwich, QPR and K-League side Puscan Icons.

Cureton is one of several strikers to be linked with the club, and Scunthorpe's Steve Torpey looks set to join the Imps during the next few days in a deal that would be one of the worst kept secrets in City's history.
